Aligned Action International (AAI) • ICF-accredited coach education • Level 1 & Level 2
Discover what coaching could add to the way you lead, partner, work with people, and work with yourself.
Coaching is more than a professional role. It is a different way of listening, thinking and partnering with people when the answer is not obvious.
What could learning coaching add to the way you work?
I lead people
I want to create more ownership, think with people rather than for them, and remain present when situations are complex and there is no obvious answer.
I work with clients
I want to add coaching to the way I partner with clients, without always needing to be the person with the answer.
I work in HR or People Development
I want to strengthen the way I partner with people and the business, support career and professional development, and work more effectively through change and transition.
I am navigating change myself
I want to understand and work with my own thinking, state and choices more effectively, build sustainable ways of responding, and strengthen my capacity to navigate change.
Coaching is more than the questions you ask.
Learning coaching means developing the ability:
to stay curious when you already have an opinion
to resist the urge to solve for the other person
to hear how someone is constructing the problem, not only what the problem is
to work when certainty is limited
to create ownership rather than dependence
to remain calmly present in a complex conversation
Learn to work beyond the presenting problem.

2
Habits & action
Turn insight into sustainable patterns of action rather than temporary change.
3
State
Work with emotion, energy and the internal state from which someone acts.
4
Thinking
Notice and expand beliefs, assumptions, perspectives and the stories through which we make sense of experience.
5
Sense of self
Expand the way someone sees who they are and what is possible for them.
You don't learn coaching by hearing about coaching.

From the beginning, learning moves between understanding and application. You coach, observe coaching, receive developmental feedback, reflect and return to practice.

The aim is not to reproduce scripted interventions, but to develop your own coaching presence, range and judgement.

Already have ICF-approved coach-specific education?
Previous education may be recognised toward entry into Part 2.
Every enrolment starts with a conversation.
It is an opportunity for both sides to explore your motivation, what you are looking for from coach education, and whether AAI is the right fit for you.

It also helps us make sure that what you are looking for is actually coaching and that the way we teach and learn together matches what you want to develop.
